#IraqProgress Oil Revenue for September Over $9 Billion
According to the Ministry of Oil, over $9 billion was earned from September's 2023 exports.
"Economy News" reported in a statement received from the ministry that "the total amount of crude oil exported by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company "SOMO" amounted to (103) million (143) thousand and (199) barrels, resulting in a revenue of (9.494) billion dollars.
During the month of September, the oil fields in central and southern Iraq exported a total of (102) million barrels of crude oil, (220) thousand barrels and 441 barrels, whereas the quantities exported to Jordan were (4499) thousand and (423) barrels, while Qayyarah exported (473) thousand and (335) barrels," explaining that "the average daily quantities exported were (3) million and (438) thousand barrels."
According to the report, the average price per barrel was $92.05.
The ministry took this monthly measure as part of its belief in informing the public about export operations and revenues.
