PM Entire UN Speech in Engllish: According to Iraq's Prime Minister, drugs are as dangerous as ISIS terrorism.

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani stressed on Saturday that reforms at the security institution were his government’s top priority. He spoke of restructuring and modernizing the institution, training its members, and combating corruption in his speech.

This is excellent news for IQD investors and investors who want to invest in Iraq.  It appears that Iraq's new Prime Minister is on the side of transparency and is asking for active help in combating corruption, drugs, and ISIS.  

A graduation ceremony at the Higher Institute for Security and Administrative Development revealed that the government has rehabilitated 34,000 members of the security forces.

He added that tens of thousands of new members were recruited "to inject new blood into the institution."

In response to corruption, the PM called on the security forces to always remain alert and ready.

In addition to relying on intelligence information, their plans must be constantly updated in order to keep up with the latest developments in security.

According to Sudani, drugs are as dangerous as ISIS terrorism.

In order to combat smuggling, he called for strengthening border security.  (The Iraqis would have us believe that the entire country is a religious-abiding society.  We always knew the truth because of backdoor reporting. However, the Prime Minister spilled the beans at the UN General Assembly in New York City)

Moreover, he stressed the importance of cooperation and coordination with regional and international organizations.
