Obama's Sister Said He Was a High-Level Civil Servant - I Got Angry, Even Though I Didn't Vote for Obama

Why?  

Why did I get angry?  

Because I thought she was belittling the United States?

Or worst, because, his mother was white, or because he was born to another woman while her father was still married to her mother. 

But that couldn't be the reason, she herself was once married to a white man from the UK.

But the more I thought about it, I found myself asking this question.

I tried to place myself in Obama's sister's shoes.  She was born in Africa.  I was born in America.  One side of my DNA is White & American Indian; the other side is of African descent.

And I asked myself; Did she lie?

No.  She did not lie. 

When I looked out the window from her standpoint, I saw the globe.

I had become angry because when she made the statement, I was looking out of a window, but I didn't see the whole picture.

The picture we see, helps to define the words we use.
