I asked my neighbor, why do Iranians feel that they need to protect Iraq?
Why are the Iran-backed militants in Iraq breaking havoc and trying to control things outside of the normal process?
It's what he didn't say, that answered my question.
After briefly talking to him for the third time, I finally realized I was talking to a walking genius who saw me as someone who really didn't know what was going on.
Once I got past his pre-judgment of my IQ, I began to ask the hard questions after I learned he was born in Iran, went to college in the United States, and was somewhat stuck in the U.S. after the Iranians attacked the U.S. Embassy in Iran. He was allowed to become a U.S. citizen.
I continued on the track of being a student, not really an equal in the conversation. However, he attended the same class I did, which focused on controlling the conversation by controlling the questions.
But it is one thing I never forget when dealing with men.
They are born with 4% more brain cells than women.
Most of the time, women don't realize this fact because men often use those brain cells to figure out how to do as little as possible and still get what they want.
He said he wasn't a genius, but I had a different opinion based on how he spoke.
Anyway, to make a long story short.
This is what I got from my U.S. citizen, born in Iran, Airbnb neighbor in Peru, on the subject of why Iran inserts itself into Iraq's agenda.
Iraq does not have the experience or the ability to understand global politics like Iran/Persia.
Yes, Iran was formerly known as Persia.
Just because they changed their name doesn't mean they changed who they are internally. The Persian Empire dates back to biblical times. And for some reason, they do not view Iraq's ancient history as a quality that helps Iraq understand the West, namely the U.S. and the UK.
(This may be a correct evaluation, because Saddam controlled every aspect of their lives, and the Iraqi people only have 20 years of experience in democracy.)
I didn't tell my neighbor, but I see Iraq as being more intelligent than Iran and many people within the U.S. government. They practice a practice much like I do, that is akin to "Raja Yoga."
Raja Yoga is a practice where you place your life problems or issues into your work, allowing the progression of your work to determine how your problems or concerns will be resolved.
This method is slow, and it requires a great deal of patience, along with wisdom.
I only recognized this pattern in Iraq because I practice the same type of pattern. Iraq is Muslim, I was raised Christian, and I believe that baby was born. In fact, when I went to Egypt, they implied that there was more than one baby conceived without the benefit of personal relations.
A miracle or a result of personal hygiene habits, it's not a concern for me. It all goes back to Africa.
As a man, or woman thinketh, so be it.
If you believe it can happen, it can.
That's my personal take on why Iran-backed militants and the Iranian people are trying to control Iraq. Not to mention that Iraq is a lifeline for money because of the sanctions Iran is under.
