Iraq sends oil tanker to Giza via Egypt - Humanitarian Efforts

In a report published by Amwal Al Ghad on Thursday, Zedan Khalaf, the adviser to the Iraqi prime minister for humanitarian affairs, announced that a tanker carrying about 10 million liters of fuel had left Barsa port to provide assistance to Palestinians in Gaza, heading towards the Suez Canal.

Iraq plans to send more aid in the future, he said.

In the Gaza Strip, fuel shortages have left the population without electricity since October 7, impacting essential services like hospitals. Israel allowed larger fuel shipments earlier this month.
