Iranian-acked militias in IRAQ are attacking Israel from within Iraq.

This week, two attacks on Israel have been attributed to Iranian-backed militias in Iraq. According to the pro-Iranian Al-Mayadeen media, the Iraqi Islamist resistance said it hit a “vital target deep inside the occupied Palestinian territories.” According to the report, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced that its mujahideen had attacked with appropriate weapons on Monday morning.

According to the report, the claims were connected to an incident overnight in Eilat. Targeting Eilat from Iraq is part of an escalation by Iranian-backed groups.

Earlier this week, the same Iraqi militia group, which represents a number of pro-Iranian militias with drones and missiles, claimed to have targeted the Christian village of Eilaboun. They claimed to have used a drone flown from Iraq in the attack. In recent years, pro-Iranian groups in Iraq have increased their number of drones and capabilities. In January, three Americans were killed by a drone attack by Kataib Hezbollah in Iraq.
