The US Targeted Assassinations No Vehicles Damaged in Front or Behind the Target on Busy Commercial Street

It has become clear that the US prefers to use the so-called "flying Ginsu" for targeted assassinations after using a hellfire missile with six long blades to kill a senior Kataib Hezbollah official in Baghdad last week.  (Video will air on February 18, 2024, Edu Matrix Channel - The Word on the Streets)

According to the Wall Street Journal, the US deployed the modified missile to kill Abu Baqir al-Saadi, Kataib Hezbollah's commander of Syrian operations.

In Arabic language media reports and Iranian sources, Arkan al-Alawi, another senior Kataib Hezbollah official, was also killed in the strike, the US said.

A drone attack at a remote desert outpost in Jordan that killed three US soldiers, which the US suggested was the work of Kataib Hezbollah. This group is the most powerful and active Shia militia in Iraq.

Video footage from the scene of the killing in eastern Baghdad showed an SUV engulfed in flames but still intact, similar to other Ginsu attacks.

US missiles with explosive warheads usually leave craters, scorch marks, and debris. The Ginsu's distinctive feature is that it doesn't leave collateral damage or burn marks.

US Central Command said last week that there were no reports of collateral damage or civilian casualties after the Baghdad strike.
