US Ambassador to Iraq announces $73 million to improve public services via USAID


The U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Alenia Romanciki, the government will collaborate with civil society and local communities to improve public services with $73 million.


"The Iraqi government's goal of supporting local participation and effective local governance is a key priority within the comprehensive US-Iraqi partnership," Romaneski wrote on the X platform.


In order to improve public services, USAID Middle East has provided $73 million through the Iraq Together program.
