Iraq exports over 109 mln barrels of crude oil in October Generates Over $9 billion in US Dollars



The country's Oil Ministry announced on Wednesday that it exported 109.54 million barrels of crude oil in October, generating 9.66 billion dollars in revenue.


According to a statement from the ministry, Iraqi crude oil averaged 88.26 dollars per barrel in October, citing statistics from the State Organization for Marketing of Oil.


According to the statement, 108.05 million barrels were exported from oil fields in central and southern Iraq through Basra, 1.03 million barrels were exported from the Qayyara oilfield in Nineveh, and 464,728 barrels were exported to neighboring Jordan.


More than 90 percent of Iraq's revenue comes from crude oil exports.
