On Monday, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani and US Ambassador to Iraq Alina Romanowski discussed the agenda for next week's Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) and US Treasury Department meetings. The channel will keep you updated on the meeting results.
According to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Al-Sudani and Romanowski discussed bilateral ties and collaboration in several areas.
The CBI and US Treasury Department's cooperative relationship was also discussed, as several topics will be discussed at their meeting next week.
Also discussed were the horrible events in Gaza, the acts of genocide committed by the Israeli occupation forces against defenseless civilians, and the worsening humanitarian situation.
Iraq's Prime Minister reiterated the unwavering stance on the Palestinian issue, calling for an end to Israeli attacks, opening safe corridors that allow food and medical aid to be delivered to civilians, and guaranteeing Palestinian rights to live in security.
According to Al-Sudani, Iraq is taking the necessary measures to maintain security and stability in Iraq while protecting diplomatic missions and security advisors of the international coalition against ISIS.
