Iraq Oil Revenue Report August 2023
Over $8 billion in revenues were reported by the Ministry of Oil for the Month of August 2023.
"The total exports and revenues for the month of August, according to the preliminary figures released by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company "SOMO," total amount of crude oil exports amounted to (106) million (122) thousand and (874) barrels, with revenues of (8.846) billion dollars."
The statement reported the export of crude oil from Iraq in August - reaching 105 million 236 thousand 963 barrels - with 464 thousand 725 barrels being exported to Jordan and 421 thousand 186 barrels coming from the Qayyarah field. An average of 3 million 423 thousand barrels were exported daily, priced at 83.35 dollars per barrel.

Iraq Stock Exchange announced Thursday the August 2023 trading indicators for joint stock companies.
Taha Ahmed Abdul Salam, the executive director of the Iraq Stock Exchange, announced that the exchange held (23) trading sessions in the shares of the listed shareholding companies, numbering (103) Iraqi joint stock companies.
The number of trading sessions for the current year has reached (159), representing 67% of the number of days planned for 2023, corresponding to official working days.
In the current year until August 31, (475) billion shares were traded, representing (84%) of their number for 2022.
In 2022, the value of traded shares will amount to (444) billion dinars. It will amount to (371) billion dinars for the current year.
Compared to the close of 2022, the ISX60 traded stock price index increased by (38%) in August 2023, while it increased by (13%) compared to the close of July 2023.
