In the first nine months of 2023, Iraq, OPEC's second-largest oil producer, earned more than $70 billion from crude exports.
According to the Oil Ministry, the earnings represent more than 77% of the projected oil income of $90 billion in 2023.
According to the National Iraqi News Agency on Monday, a recent surge in oil prices boosted Iraq's oil income to its highest level in many years in September.
According to the report, this resulted in oil revenues of around 70.7 billion in the first 9 months of 2023.
Iraq's production was roughly 3.438 million barrels per day (bpd) in September, according to the report. Crude prices were estimated at about $92 a barrel in September.
